Tour Introduction
07:30｜Depart from Melbourne city, about 3 hours north
10:30｜Arrival at Cactus Country
- After entering the park, you can freely explore 8 themed trails, each with a different style of cactus scenery
- Recommended photo spots: Mexican benches, giant columnar cactus area, arch cactus wall
- Tips: It is recommended to wear bright-colored clothes and a hat to protect against the sun. Photo props (Mexican hats, etc.) are provided in the park.
12:30｜Lunch in the park
- The restaurant offers nachos, burritos, cactus ice cream & specialty cactus beer
- You can bring a small cactus or succulent plant as a souvenir (available in the park)
13:30｜Leave the park and choose the following two routes to continue exploring:
Route A: Get close to nature (suitable for spring and summer)
14:00｜Drive to Barmah National Park (about 25 minutes)
- Take a walk along the Murray River and encounter kangaroos and wild birds
- You can choose a short walk or sit by the river to experience Australia's natural countryside
Route B: Pastoral scenery (suitable all year round)
14:00｜On the way back, we passed through the small towns of Yarrawonga / Cobram
- Cheese factory visit: Boosey Creek Cheese
- Coffee afternoon tea: Café Manto (Cobram) or The Naked Tree (Yarrawonga)
16:30｜Return to Melbourne, expected to be back in the city before 19:30
